Love it
Great reading all that is going on. I went to my second LLL meeting because I loved meeting other Moms who were BFing and weren’t going to be squeemish seeing me nurse as we chatted.

Great blog! I love the pic of all the children making a “joyfuLLL noise”. <3 =)
Janet Jendron, president of API gave an amazing speech this morning about the taking the philosophies of API and LLL and making them front and center in our lives. When she said that the best thing that we can do for other mothers (and truly, all of humankind) is simply “Listen, Listen, Love, Love” it struck a nerve with this blogger. Too often I am guilty - thank goodness the next session I attended was one about overcoming mama guilt - of judging before I even hear a mama out. When it comes down to it, when you simply listen with a state of pure love and pure trust that this mama has their family’s best interest at heart, you start being able to make a real impact in someone’s life.
It isn’t what you say that will make the impact, it is the way you make people feel. In this age of Google and Webmd, online forums and self diagnosis, women don’t need information, they need connection to feel supported. The next time someone talks, don’t simply listen. Listen, listen, love, love.
Make a ripple today! What you do effects the future!
I have lost my memory stick adapter, so less pictures will be uploaded today, and you know what that means, more writing! So buckle in people, its gonna be another LLLovely day!
Nancy Graves and Ruth Piatak gave a lovely lecture on the benefits of breastfeeding support programs for business owners. A breastfeeding support program will save all sizes of businesses money, cut down on turn over and improve employee trust and loyalty. To start a program in your company, or to highly encourage your HR person to do so, download pdfs from the governement link above. Your tax dollars are supporting breastfeeding, shouldn’t your employer?
